SuitMMA

The Mixed Martial Arts Suit (SuitMMA) provides motion capture, scoring, and feedback for Mixed Martial Arts competitions. Our real-time, motion capture system uses a collection of 9 Degrees of Freedom (9DOF) sensors which are synchronized and error corrected to capture motion human motion. Our scoring system uses a collection of sensors to detect strikes for scoring competitions. We provide audio feedback when scoring occurs. These wireless wearable systems communicate back to a laptop which can be used to share scoring information. This system uses the same technologies as our SuitAR system.
